Tokenomics

Intro

The Hive token represents stock in Hive Capital. At time of launch there will be 100,000,000 tokens minted. Hive Capital will have the ability to mint and burn tokens, much like a traditional company can issue and buy back shares of their company.

Distribution

Initial Stake Pool Offering (50%): There will be a ISPO of 50,000,000 HIVE tokens.

DAO Treasury (30%): These HIVE tokens will be spent however the DAO sees fit.

Small Business (10%): Give back to small businesses affected by COVID. Owning these tokens will help these business get a better understanding for blockchain and web3.

Founding/Dev Team (10%): These tokens will be earned for getting Hive Capital off the ground and building an automated self governed system to manage and invest in stocks, crypto, and other assets. These will also be used to further the development of Hive Capital, with the influence of the DAO over which direction to take.
